Last week, the
5th grade talked about the summer reading. They
focused on “Frindle” and the
main character, Nick's,
classroom antics before he entered the 5th grade.
We
talked about his attempt to transform his 3rd grade
classroom into a tropical island.
We ended this discussion
with a cooking class! Recommended by the Middle School,
"Cooking with Class," under the direction of Mrs. Rosa Carra
helped our 5th graders
cook up a tropical dish. It was
delicious!
