Good-bye from Sacred Heart Private

Sadly, goodbyes are as much a part of life as the seasons of the year. But this good-bye is even more difficult. The word goodbye originally came from “God-be-with-ye” or “Go-with-God.”  It’s a recognition that God is a part of the going.  When we dread or fear the journey there is strength in remembering that God will be there to protect and comfort us.  Goodbye is a blessing of love, saying we believe that if God goes with us, we will never be alone and that we will always be joined with those who have been a part of our life.  And so, I say on behalf of all of us at Sacred Heart Private School:  Go with God and continue to be the wonderful people you have been here at Sacred Heart Private School.
