Lent
2008: Week 4 -
We Will
Sow Seeds of Love
by Serving
-
We help those who are
lonely or afraid.
-
We help those who are
hungry or cold.
-
We help those who are
sick or neglected.
-
We help those who can
give us nothing in return.
-
We give
our time, our friendship, our things and our money.
High School Registration
The Archdiocese of New York has set high school registration for
Wednesday, March 5th after 2:30 PM. In order to avoid
disruption of our afternoon, all eighth graders will be
dismissed at 12:15 PM on March 5th. All eighth
graders are expected to report to school that day for class and
all should remain in school until 12:15 PM. They will not eat
lunch in school and we ask that you make arrangements to have
them picked up promptly at that time. Thank you so much.

Some Deadlines
-
We still have
some families delinquent with February Tuition Raffle
which was due on February 22nd As I’ve said
before, all tuition, tuition raffle and Extended Day
payments must be completed before records can be sent to
other schools.
-
Today the March
Tuition Raffle is included in the packet. As I
explained previously, this month and in April you will
be receiving 3 Tuition Raffle Tickets in stead of
2 because you will not receive any in June. It’s still
the same total amount for the year: 20, but we are
spreading it over 9 months rather than 10. We will draw
two tickets during March and April. So, play so you
have a chance to win!!!
-
Congratulations
to the parents of Elizabeth and Steven Ramdeo for
winning the February Tuition Raffle!
Progress
Reports
Some students will be receiving Progress Reports today.
Please check for this. Take this opportunity to check on
your youngster’s progress this quarter and if you are not
happy, find out from the teachers what may be lacking.
Please sign the yellow copy and return it to your child’s
teacher tomorrow. You will be receiving a phone call if the
Progress Report doesn’t make it home to you.
Science
Fair
Tomorrow, February 29th, is our SHPS Science
Fair. Quite a few students are presenting projects.
Whether or not your youngster entered a project, you are
welcome to come and view the projects in the APH fro 3:30 –
