Some Reminders

  • The March Tuition Raffle is due by next Wednesday, March 12th.   Once again, you can’t win if you don’t participate.  I hope you recall that I explained a while ago why you would be receiving 3 Tuition Raffles in March & April:  you will not receive any in June.  As was stated before, families who are two months behind with Tuition Raffle payments will have the balance added to their SMART tuition balance.  Thanks to the majority of you who so promptly make their returns each month – you are a blessing!

  • If you wish to remember in prayer any of your loved ones, living or deceased, send in a $1.00 donation for the Tree of Life.

  • Once make the difficult decision on a school for your child for September, please remember to send in the Release of Records Form so that we can begin to prepare to send out your youngster’s records in a timely manner.  If you can’t find the Release of Records Form, you can download it from our website.  Thanks you. Release of Records

  • The Recommendation Form I provided for you at the end of January:  this is to be used IF a school asks for a recommendation and they don’t supply a form. This is the time to use the one I gave you.  Send it in with a letter asking for the teacher and me to complete the forms and provide a stamped envelope addressed to the receiving school.   This will help you in the long run. Basketball Outing Check!
Two weeks ago those of you who requested tickets for
the New Jersey Nets basketball game on March 15th received your tickets in an envelope on which was written the number of tickets you were receiving.  Well, someone received 2 extra tickets and someone is short 2 tickets.  The tickets are prone to stick together – so would you please check your tickets to make sure you received the exact number that was written on the outside of the envelope.  Thanks a bunch!

Classroom Highlights

If you happen to come up to the second floor of the school, you will see some remarkable projects done by Gr. 4 students.   Since February was Black History month, the students were given an assignment on a particular book about an outstanding African American.

They all read different books and created GREAT projects portraying their character.  Some of the creative projects include posters, photo cubes, letters to authors, dioramas, among many other projects!  One student created a BUS with Rosa Parks and other people in it…and acted out a puppet show to discuss her book.  It was amazing to see such talent!
