An Opportunity
Once again we are giving you the opportunity to be a part of our 2008 graduation by making
a
donation either in your name or in memory of a loved one.  Included in the packet is the Donation Form and we ask you to return it by next Friday so that we can include your name in the program.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.

New York Liberty Trip
Next Thursday, May 8th, Grades 1 – 8 will be attending the New York Liberty Basketball Game. All students are to wear their
new school T-shirt. This is a school day and if your child is not going to attend, some teachers will be here at school to supervise them.  So, do not hesitate to send him/her to school that day.

Virtue of the Month for May is RESPONSIBILITY.  In this packet we’ve included suggested ways of practicing Responsibility.  Perhaps you can discuss these with your youngsters.  Please remember that we do try to recognize each student for the practice of a virtue at some point during the year.  However, there has to be genuine effort to practice the virtue.

Reminders:

  • Thank you so very much to all our families who have completed Tuition payments for 2007 – 2008.  Your timely response is a real gift to me.  However, I still have over $60,000 in tuition payments which are delinquent.   I remind those parents that your youngster will not be able to attend class on Monday, May 5th unless you follow the directives in the letter enclosed in this packet.  If you don’t have a letter enclosed, you have my deepest thanks.

  • Today the final Tuition Raffle of the year is being sent home.  We still have families owing for January thru April.  Please remember that all of this plus tuition must be paid in full before records can be sent out.   Thanks for your help.

  • There have been some families parking in the Faculty/Staff Lot to drop their children off in the morning and to pick them up in the afternoon.  Because of insurance issues, this lot is for Faculty and Staff ONLY.  Parking there is unfair to other parents and is not allowed due to these insurance issues.  I am sure you do not want to see your license plate number published in our newsletter!!

  • There will be Choir Practice next Tuesday from 3:00 – 3:45 p.m.

Tomorrow, May 1st is Ascension Thursday and a Holy Day of Obligation.  School will NOT be in session.   Friday, May 2nd is our second Spring Holiday and school will NOT be in session.
